A PAIR of gold dancing lions and sprays of glitter shook the calm of the Budget Terminal on Friday as Firefly celebrated its first flight from Subang to Singapore.
The Malaysian carrier - whose fares are comparable to those of budget airlines - says it is a full-service airline with free on-board refreshments and 20kg luggage allowance.
It has started three daily flights from Singapore to Subang - and from July 12, there will be four flights there every day. Departures to Ipoh, Kuantan and Kuala Terengganu will follow later this month, while flights to Malacca will begin in September and those to Alor Setar and Kota Bharu in October.
One-way fares are $31 nett for this month. JENNIFER CHEN
