Please refer to the letter "Why I cannot afford to be sick" by Mr Nick Teo (June 26).
Since the outbreak of Influenza A, we have informed all our cabbies that taxi rental will be waived for those who have been confirmed to have the H1N1 virus or those who have been served Home Quarantine Orders. The rental waiver does not extend to normal flu cases. We have since contacted Mr Teo to clarify our policy.
