Gang Lun, I could easily reproduce what you have written but replaced some phrases/words in caps : Minority FUNDAMENTALIST CHRISTIAN group like COOS are a motley bunch of off-tangential CONSERVATIVES who arrogated to themselves the job of safeguarding their ilk's rights and interest. Actually the mainstream population does not bother a tweet about their loud PROSELYTISATION and in-your-face rudeness. The fact remains that if our TOLERANT SECULAR SOCIETY do nothing to thwart the aggressive, vocal and articulate advocates of the fringe FUNDAMENTALIST group from monopolizing and directing governance whether at local or national levels, we and our children would be the far worse for it ultimately. They have a right to their RELIGIOUS BELIEF just so long as they don't push their agenda right into our face. Period.

Oh for GOODNESS sake, please make the distinction between a paedophile which can be straight, bi or gay to one's sexuality. It is disgusting that people continue to perpetrate such misconceptions and to make such associations in order to promote irrational fears in others. There is no association between sexuality and the way one was brought up. I challenge "Mael" to write a more cohesive piece with ACTUAL references to studies to back up his stupid position. Some Singaporeans can be so brainless.

I love this lady. She is merely saying what is already clear instinctively. It is not an equal rights issues. It is a pseudo-sexual behavioral issue. A particular disgusting and disease prone in the case of men. It also has been shown to decrease a man's lifespan. Some studies have shown a lifespan of as little as 43 years compared to the average lifespan of 87. Also far too many gay men and women report molestation as children. More than one independent studies have found this particular for gay men. That should alarm anyone and if you are a gay man who was molested as a child if you do not deal with that attack you are statistically more likely to molest and that is a problem. A friend of mine was molest by his gay uncle as a boy, all I know is that he changed after that. He retreated into himself, his interest in girls and things sexual disappeared. Now he identifies as a gay man and I've seen his health suffer for it.
