THANKS to a tie-up between the Land Transport Authority and Google, Singapore is the first country in the world to get a comprehensive online map that's mashed up with driving or walking routes and public transport directions accompanied with live traffic updates on Google Maps (maps.google.com.sg/transport).

The service is available on mobile devices and phones as well, so commuters and motorists can get the latest routes or traffic updates when they're out and about.
