First a bronze, then a silver for Tay and Koh
National sailors Roy Tay (right) and Terence Koh won the silver medal in the men's 470 open at the Singapore Airlines Sail Auckland Regatta, which concluded on Sunday at Auckland's Kohimarama Yacht Club. Tay and Koh, who are both vying to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games, finished with 22 nett points from eight races. New Zealand's Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie took the gold medal with 19 nett points, with another Kiwi pair, Francisco Lardies and Finn Drummond, settled for the bronze with 34 nett points. It is the Singaporean pair's second medal in as many months, having also claimed a bronze at the Australian 470 National Championship last month. PHOTO COURTESY OF SINGAPORESAILING
