So it's already confirm that the other 2 foreign teams that is joining Albirex is Beijing Guoan and Etoile FC from France.
The locals have yet to see how they perform but I'm looking forward to see the French team here in S-League.
I've seen reports from other sites that said that M'sia U-21 team are trying to bring their team here in Singapore. Although, they won't make it this season, I hope they keep trying to come in here. It'll bring back some rivalry between S'pore and M'sia that the new generation didn't have e chance to feel.
Looking forward to the new season in Feb 1.

inorder to make the S.League more popular FAS must get people who played and ve lots of knowledge about ftball NOT those who get pay to run ftball association(how many officials in the fas can control the ball 15times?yes 15 only!!)what they know is the standard procedures FOR OFF-SEASON,pre-season,building up seASON, IN-SEASON AND MAINTENANCE SEASONN THEY ACT LIKE THEY KNOW EVERYTHING.1st of all they don,t even know who were the 1980 to 1999 coaches n players they dont even know what was the NFL n Premier League bcos they were just a kid or some NOT EVEN BORN!
SIMPLE way to make the S.L exciting is to get sucessful coaches with past sucess(remember: a good coach is one who win trophy after trophy!your EX-TD never even win a cup since maysia cup days, n last two year at home utd > failed twice!what a joke!!not to mention a PRO LISEN HOLDER!WHAT A JOKE!)SO DON,T ANYHOW GET A COACH U LIKE but get a coach who do thing differently think differently coach differently + discipline 1st

s.l is a singapore league d competition's rules r de same as EPL or J.LEAGUE
u don't invite foreign team to help s.l u actuaqlly need successful coaches(NOT coaches today retire tomorow take 'A'lisen de next day like by the club chairman bcome s.l coach u tell me what can he do?
look at balestier instead of train a team to win s.league they tell u they r developing what a joke!
common if u have no tactical ideas plse don't b coach!otherwise no crowd bcos they want a club to have a sucessful professional coach like alex ferguson not a **** tom n harry get a lisen given by a failure to another failure

Chinese team? No no, their football has too much problem, let them clean their house first.
Australian team? Sounds interesting, can test our players against their state-league players. Perhaps like the previous Perth Kangaroos to the current Perth Glory, the Darwin team can be a platform for a future A-League franchise in Darwin. Mutually benefits here it seens.
Brunei team? Let them sort out their problem first to prevent this year things from repeating.
French team? Who? Depending on the standard, that could be interesting too.

The S League is the premier football tournament in Sg. If you have reserve teams from other countries plying their trade here, you can only play 2nd fidle and nothing else. The best in Sg will play the 2nd best in China. How do you expect the international team of sg to beat the Chinese national team?
