There is one more problem for pedestrians - the high speed red light countdown at traffic lights. For me, walking fast across the road often means only 3 seconds before the light changes back to green. I pity the elderly who surely need more time. To reduce stress on us, LTA could look into counters changing at 3 seconds per number instead of 1 second. What's the rush? Can we have 5 more seconds for every red light?
