you're right, Ricky..... which is why MOE is now gradually taking over from Case Trust, via Edu Trust, to ensure that all private education organisations ( PEOs) adhere to high standards of business practices. because Case Trust appears to be overstretched in its resources. with this move, Case Trust should be able to regulate better on other non-education industry businesses.

Brookes business school was accredited, and yet such unfortunate circumstances can arise. Have the students (customers) been protected?
Sometime, it is better to not having the accredition. Did the accredition give people false "trust"? Consumers see the accredition mark and expect the regulations are adhered to. Is there a misunderstanding of what such acrredition means, or is there a systemic failure?
For maid employment industry, the only way is tighter control and tighter regulation from MOM to get rid of cowboy's . Consumers do not have the leverage to do such research, MOM do. The maids and the employers, and the diplomatic relations between Singapore and maids' home coutries is at stake.
