Really enjoyed reading your piece. Your wife has done a superb job of getting your child all fired up on reading by himself. I agree with your absolutely: The gift of reading once given is a joy forever, and is irretrievable. It would be great if all parents could devote some time daily to enthuse their kids with the love for reading, and open up the infinite vistas of discovery, sensual delights, auditory education etc. Congratulations to your wife and you for being such caring, engaging and devoted parents!
