SINGAPORE - The wins just keep on coming for Singapore film Ilo Ilo.

SINGAPORE - The wins just keep on coming for Singapore film Ilo Ilo.

Actress Yeo Yann Yann took home the Best Supporting Actress award at the 56th Asia-Pacific Film Festival in Macau on Sunday night.

The Malaysian adds this Best Supporting actress trophy to her growing collection of wins that include the prestigious Golden Horse awards, Pacific Meridian Film Festival in Russia and the Mumbai International Film Festival.

The Asia-Pacific Film Festival (APFF) is an annual event hosted by the Federation of Motion Picture Producers in Asia-Pacific (FPA).

Zhang Ziyi won the Best Actress award for her performance in Wong Kar Wai’s The Grandmaster while Lee Kang-sheng won Best Actor for his leading role in Tsai Ming-Liang’s Stray Dogs. Japanese director Hirokazu Koreeda took home the big prizes of Best Picture and Best Director for his critically acclaimed film, Like Father, Like Son.
