Ah Jie Ah Choo! Poor Fann Wong has the H1N1 flu!

Hey! Flick Chick here in place of Showbiz Sista! Just thought you star-gazers might like to know the latest news. Looks like the H1N1 knows no bounds and has spread to Caldecott Hill! Poor Fann Wong has just been diagnosed with dreaded H1N1 Flu and will be on medical leave for 10 days!

Cast and Crew of Happy Go Lucky sans leading lady Fann But fear not Fann-atics... the shoot for the movie will still proceed.  Director Harry Yap said, "In film production, we always anticipate changes. We just have to reschedule the affected shoot and hope that Fann will get well soon." Meanwhile, other celebs have given their two cents' worth about the golden girl's predicament. Chua Enlai: "I hope she's okay and gets well soon. I'm sure the production people are pulling their hair. Oh, maybe she can be spokesperson for some hospital after this." Adrian Pang: " So it seems no one is spared, not even the royalty. I spoke to a couple of people who had the H1N1 vaccine. It’s a sensible precaution, all things considered, but they did say there were side effects." "But you know, after the initial hysteria of H1N1 seemed to subside, we seemed to collectively moved on to other things, like the recession, which is just very Singaporean! We like to jump on the next thing that comes along. But I guess we’re NOT of the woods. But panicking is the last thing we should all do. We should just continue to be vigilant. Take care of ourselves and our families." Vernetta Lopez: "Does this mean Christopher Lee is on quarantine? Does this mean they’ll have to take his picture off the wall in Ion Orchard? But seriously, I hope she’s okay. I think people need to be reminded to be vigilant, just a little reminder to get people to practice good hygiene again. Anybody can get this. I hope she gets better real soon. Nobody likes to be ill like that." Happy Go Lucky is set to be released in March 2010. p.s. Visit my blog Rated G tomorrow for a few more Happy Go Lucky pictures!
