MAS names members of Financial Centre Advisory Panel
SINGAPORE - The Monetary Authority of Singapore has named the members of the new Financial Centre Advisory Panel (FCAP) set up to strengthen dialogue and partnership between the regulator and the financial industry as well as drive the growth and development of Singapore’s financial centre.

Chaired by MAS managing director Ravi Menon, the panel comprises 26 leaders from the banking, insurance and asset management industries. The members, appointed on a two-year term, include:

The FCAP will advise the MAS in two areas: asset-class strategies and cross-sectoral strategies. Besides offering advice on strategies to develop the financial sector and propose initiatives to ensure the continued dynamism of Singapore’s financial centre, industry leaders will deliberate on the SkillsFuture and FinTech initiatives to build deep skills and harness technology to sharpen the country’s competitive edge.
Mr Menon said: “MAS has a strong tradition of consultation with the financial industry. Given the rapid changes in the global financial landscape, we need to deepen our partnership with the industry to better anticipate trends, co-create policies and chart strategies for the future.
