SINGAPORE – Rolls-Royce is expanding its presence in Singapore with the launch of a new customer service centre for its airline customers, the first in a global network of centres.

Located in Seletar, the centre will provide operational support to more than 20 airlines across Asia Pacific, the company said. It will also be the hub for existing support teams based at major airport location in the region, which accounts for 20 per cent of Rolls-Royce large civil engines in service.

The centre will hold delegated European Aviation Safety Agency authority, which enables it to provide locally approved engineering support, Rolls-Royce said.
