Singapore — MediaCorp’s entertainment weeklies 8 DAYS and i-Weekly have once again clinched the top spot in their respective categories in a recent poll by trade journal Marketing magazine.

The former was named top Entertainment and Lifestyle Magazine of the Year for the third year running (and took second place in the Overall Magazine of the Year category), while the latter was named top Chinese Magazine of the Year for the fourth year in a row.

The Magazine of the Year rankings are derived from Marketing Research’s annual Media Spend Benchmarking Survey. Over 700 marketers and agencies were also polled for their preferred choice of magazines for their marketing campaigns.

Other wins from MediaCorp’s stable of magazines include the runner-up spot for FHM in the Men’s Magazine of the Year category, as well as a third place win for STYLE: MEN andELLE in the men’s and women’s Fashion Magazine of the Year category, respectively.

“Editorial excellence is the cornerstone of what we do and it is gratifying to see our efforts being validated in such a big way,” said MediaCorp Publishing’s Managing Director Jessie Sng. “Our outstanding performance in this year’s awards reflects our brands’ leadership position in the industry. We will continue to expand the reach of brands and content and make them available through multiple touch points.”
