URBAN HYSTERIA: WHITE NOISE. The third and final instalment of the Urban Hysteria show looks at the intense pace of human life, featuring works by Sufian Samsiyar, Yeo Tze Yang, Ruyi Wong and Ezekiel Wong. DANCE WITH ME. The Substation associate artist Ming Poon will be asking strangers on the street to slow dance with him, an invitation to step away from the busy world and into a moment of intimacy. ADA APA DENGAN TENGKORAK – SOLO EXHIBITION BY BAYU UTOMO RADJIKIN. Translating to “What’s with the skull?”, this new exhibition by the Malaysian artist in painting and charcoal. Until March 8, 11am to 7pm, Chan Hampe Galleries, Raffles Hotel Arcade #01-21. Free admission.

THE ART INCUBATOR 6: RESIDENCY AS METHOD. The sixth edition of the annual residence programme’s showcase features the works of Singaporean artists anGie Seah, Godwin Koay and Sufian Samsiyar, and is curated by Kimberly Shen. THOUSAND KNIVES. Singaporean artist Wong Lip Chin’s first solo show in seven years features a series of paintings and reliefs installed upon a revolving waterwheel-like structure, as well as a series of videos. A TREE WITH TOO MANY BRANCHES. Singaporean artist Ang Song Nian looks to the trees in his first solo exhibition, which features a huge inflatable bonsai plant as well as an installation comprising 800 iron trees. Until March 15 at DECK (116 Prinsep Street). Free admission.

ALLEGORIES — THE WORKS OF WONG SHIH YAW. A survey exhibition by one of the founding members of The Artists Village, it showcases 60 drawings and paintings spanning two decades. DIEGO RIVERA: PRIDE OF MEXICO. A showcase of the iconic Mexican artist’s 34 artworks from the state of Veracruz, produced during the 52 years of his life. Two reproductions by the famous muralist will also be on display. Feb 13 to April 12, 11am to 7pm, Lim Hak Tai Gallery, NAFA Campus 1, 80 Bencoolen St. Free admission. ALONG THE GOLDEN MILE. Photographer Darren Soh’s photographic installation brings the entire Golden Mile and Beach Road district into the entire gallery (and on the rooftop). Until Feb 18, 11am to 7pm, Objectifs Gallery, 56A Arab Street. Free admission.

ANCIENT FANTASY – KUKOKU TAMURA. An array of original artworks by leading Japanese artist Kukoku Tamura, including lithographs and sumi on paper, blending traditional calligraphy and abstract expressionism. Until March 28 at Kato Art Duo @ Raffles Hotel Arcade. Free admission.

ARMEN AGOP: TRANSCONTEMPORARY. An exhibition of new granite and bronze sculptures by the Egyptian artist. His works have been described as futuristic and otherworldly as well as spiritual and meditative. Until Feb 21, 11am to 7pm, Art Plural Gallery, 38 Armenian Street. Free admission. DAY FALLS/NIGHT FALLS BY HIROSHI SENJU. A showcase of the famous Japanese painter’s new fluorescent waterfall paintings. Until March 8 at Sundaram Tagore Gallery, Gillman Barracks. Free admission.

GEO | GRAPHIC: CELEBRATING MAPS AND THEIR STORIES. An extensive exhibition featuring rare and original maps as well contemporary artworks that look at map-making and its relationship to Singapore and South-east Asia. RINA BANERJEE: MIGRATION’S BREATH. A solo exhibition of new sculptures, works on paper and lithographs by the India-born, New York-based artist. Until March 21 at Ota Fine Arts, Gillman Barracks. Free admission.

MAD LOVE. A group show that looks at love, sex and desire in contemporary times. Featured artists include Hong Kong photographer Wing Shya, Japanese street artist Madsaki and Japanese photographer Yonehara Yasumasa, among others.
