SINGAPORE — Theatre company Drama Box did a test run of its new inflatable theatre space called GoLi today (Nov 21) at Toa Payoh Central.

Made of PVC and nylon, setting up the GoLi space took less than an hour and it can comfortably fit around 150 people.

It will be officially put to use in July next year for a festival showcasing forum theatre productions. The structure was designed by Atelier Watt, a Hong Kong-based creative studio by Singaporean architects Mr William Tan and Ms Ting-Ting Zhang (both of whom previously worked with renowned architect Ms Zaha Hadid). They are hoping to raise more funds and build more such structures.
