SINGAPORE — Fans of Riverdance might want to start brushing up on their Irish dance moves. Following a sell-out season in London’s West End last year, Irish-American dancer Michael Flatley’s new Lord Of The Dance show will be heading to Singapore in September as part of a 15-country tour.
Titled Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games, the theatrical dance show will run from Sept 3 to 6 at Marina Bay Sands’ Grand Theatre, MasterCard Theatres.
Flatley first shot to fame with the famous Riverdance show in 1994 before creating the equally popular Lord Of The Dance series in 1996. The new show combines traditional form of Irish dance that has evolved over 2,000 years with exciting and ground-breaking new technology — like holographs and dancing robots. It will feature world champion acrobats and 34 of the best Irish dancers, as well as new choreography and a score composed by Gerard Fahy.
