State of the Arts: April 18 to 25

SINGAPORE — The National Gallery Singapore announced its plans of going “naked” — it will be holding its Naked Museum Building History Tours this weekend and the next prior to the installation of the artworks. This year’s Life! Theatre Awards was held, with a tie between W!ld Rice’s Monkey Goes West and Nine Years Theatre’s Art for Production of the Year. The National Heritage Board’s Singapore HeritageFest 2015 kicked off its five-week run, while Singapore Tourism Board’s touring arts showcase Singapore: Inside Out was launched in Beijing.
