SINGAPORE — The Singapore International Festival of the Arts announced its initial batch of shows for this year’s edition, including performances by Kumar and other comedians that will be held in HDB estates. Chan Hampe Galleries co-founders Angie Chan and Nick Davies announced a new Chan-Davies Art Prize for final-year students of LASALLE College of the Arts’ Fine Arts programme, which includes a solo exhibition. The top prize for the inaugural OUE Artling ArchiPavilion Design Competition pop-up architecture contest was given to Lekker Architects’ Joshua Comaroff and Ong Ker-Shing for their pavilion Soft Machine, which will be up by September.
