State of the Arts: July 19 to 26

SINGAPORE — The two big events earlier this week included the Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall open house, which attracted 25,000 visitors, and the official opening of the Singapore Heritage Festival where the launch of a S$500,000 Maritime Heritage Fund was announced. The National Arts Council and the National Heritage Board also announced the 22 recipients of its respective scholarships.
