SINGAPORE — Popular radio station Class 95FM’s Bobby Tonelli has announced that he will be leaving radio on Friday (Feb 27) to pursue other interests.

“Every day, I feel grateful to MediaCorp for giving me this opportunity. This sounds like PR (Public Relations) but it is not. They gave me a chance to be on radio. I really appreciate that. I never thought I could be a radio deejay. I learnt a lot!” said Mr Tonelli, who joined MediaCorp as a deejay back in 2010.

“I used to do telemarketing, man! I did construction, loaded trailer trucks. Coming in to do this? I’m happy!”

The American actor has appeared in MediaCorp productions such as The Little Nonya and Fighting Spiders. He said he will continue to take on television work after his departure from radio. He will also be spending his time on his arts and technology-related business ventures. CHANNEL NEWASIA
