Rebecca Lim rushed to hospital last night after chest pains

SINGAPORE — Rebecca Lim was admitted to hospital last night (June 7) after she felt pains in her chest.

The actress had been battling a bad case of the flu for the past three weeks.

According to her manager, it is suspected to be either a pulled muscle or a cracked rib from excessive coughing.

The actress had posted a picture of herself in the hospital to Instagram at about 2am this morning with the caption: “Thank you God for your hand in my life. Grateful for my family who rushed me to the A&E when I was in such bad pain, and my very understanding colleagues for all your love. I’ve been trying hard to hold up for the past 3 weeks but eventually, my body gave in. But nothing serious not to worry :) I will keep fighting!” She has since removed the post.

Lim is now resting at home.
