SINGAPORE — It’s well-known that whenever the Star Awards roll round, the stars take that as a cue to get decked out to the nines. This year was no different. But just who hit the mark and who didn’t?

ZOE TAY: “I really like wearing suits because it’s comfy,” said Zoe Tay about her Dolce&Gabbana outfit. We like Zoe wearing suits because she looks so good in them. Li Nanxing on the other hand, had the perfect response when people asked about his outfit: “I’m not the kind of person who really knows how to dress up. THE MILLION-DOLLAR BABES: We’re just wondering if they had enough security guards for Jesseca Liu, Rebecca Lim and Belinda Lee, all of whom were wearing jewellery that amounted to millions of dollars. Rebecca’s Chanel and Zac Posen jewellery alone are worth S$2 million!

ELVIN NG and FELICIA CHIN: Felicia Chin and Elvin Ng are styles apart. Her detailed Tony Ward gown made her look really fetching, while he put together something that looked like he raided the bargain bin.

BRYAN WONG: This is one shiny, happy person.

JOANNE PEH and QI YU WU: With him in Dior and her in Stella McCartney, the parents-to-be aren’t having any baby blues.

RUI EN: Is that really Rui En? “It’s not very me, right? Because it’s pretty and delicate,” she said. We see a glimpse of a smile so we know this specially flown in Zuhair Murad dress is that life-changing.
