Fann Wong delivers National Day baby

SINGAPORE – Congratulations are in order for Fann Wong and Christopher Lee!

The couple welcomed their son, baby Zed, on August 9 — which also happens to be Singapore’s National Day.

“Dear Zed, words cannot express how happy we are to see you, and to welcome you to our family,” Lee wrote in a post on his wife’s Instagram account on Saturday evening, with a photo of his newborn son, who weighed 2825 grams at birth. “Because of you, our lives will become more fulfilled.”

The proud father said: “August 9 is the most beautiful day! Happy National Day everyone!”


In a release sent by his management agency, Catwalk Asia, he added: “I’m feeling both nervous and excited. We’ve looked forward to this moment for a long time. I can’t express that sense of expectation in words. I’m finally a father! An additional role and responsibility has been added to my life and I will play my role well. I plan to accompany Fann in her confinement until the baby is a month old; to accompany them both in this very special and important time.”
