Mayday to perform at 2014 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix
SINGAPORE — Taiwan Mandopop rock band Mayday will perform in Singapore on Sept 19 as part of the entertainment lineup for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix this year.

SINGAPORE — Taiwan Mandopop rock band Mayday will perform in Singapore on Sept 19 as part of the entertainment lineup for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix this year.
The five-member Taiwanese band expressed their excitement to be “performing for the very first time at this year’s Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix” also revealed that “Singapore holds a special place in our hearts”.
“We are looking forward to performing our celebrated hits and meeting everyone in Singapore. It will definitely be a spectacular night full of high-energy performances and we hope to see you at the Padang Stage!”
Mayday consists of vocalist Ashin, guitarists Monster and Stone, bassist Masa and drummer Ming.
The quintet, which had recently completed the United States and European leg of their Nowhere World Tour, became the first Mandopop rock band to perform at the Madison Square Garden in New York, when they played to a 14,000-strong audience at the venue on March 22. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
