SINGAPORE — More than two dozen
MediaCorp artistes will be appearing alongside Korean rapper Kang Gary, one of the seven hosts of the immensely popular entertainment show Running Man, and his singing partner, Jung-In, at the NTU Fest at the
Padang on Aug 16.

Everyone from MediaCorp’s hottest young stars such as Ian Fang and Rebecca Lim, to Noose funnyman Chua Enlai, Channel 8 stars Pan Ling Ling, Cynthia Koh and Priscelia Chan, Mata-Mata’s Season 2 cast members Zhang Zhen Huan and Jayley Woo, as well as Final 1 champion Farisha Ishak will be turning up to do their part for charity. Organised by the students of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), this charity fiesta aims to raise money for an endowment fund in aid of needy students from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE).

“MediaCorp is proud to be part of this meaningful initiative by NTU students,” said MediaCorp deputy chief executive officer Chang Long Jong. NTU Fest is yet another way and certainly a fun avenue for our artistes to make a difference to society, while reaching out to their many ardent fans and the public.”

All the celebrities attending and performing at the event are contributing their talents to charity.

Opportunities to get up close and personal with stars is possible via mosh pit tickets, which can be won in various ways, including taking part in the Facebook contests and giveaways by NTUsg (NTU’s Facebook page), NTU Fest and MediaCorp’s Toggle, Channel U, 987FM, Yes 93.3FM, i-Weekly, 8 Days and MeRadio.sg.
MediaCorp is the official media partner of NTU Fest.

However, the public can show their support by buying carnival tickets for use at the various booths and taking part in the 4.8km 5TYLO MILE-O fun run, which requires a S$10 registration fee. Education Minister, Heng Swee Keat will be launching the carnival and flagging off the 5TYLO MILE-O Run. The carnival booths, run by NTU and ITE students, will feature food, games and fun activities for all ages.
