3 Warm Bodies

Young actor of the moment Nicholas Hoult plays R, a man stricken with your not-so-usual existential crisis: He’s a zombie. R shuffles through an America destroyed by war, social collapse, and the mindless hunger of his undead comrades; but he craves for more than just blood and brains. His inner life is deep, full of wonder and longing; he has dreams and subsequently has a tense, awkward and strangely sweet relationship with a human girlfriend. Based on the debut novel of author Isaac Marion, this zombie romance is directed by 50/50’s Jonathan Levine and also stars Teresa Palmer, Dave Franco and the always great John Malkovich. Definitely one to watch.
