LOS ANGELES — Rambo and Rocky fans no longer have to fight Sylvester Stallone for a piece of those movies’ memorabilia.
LOS ANGELES — Rambo and Rocky fans no longer have to fight Sylvester Stallone for a piece of those movies’ memorabilia.
Stallone announced today (July 30) he’s putting hundreds of props and costumes from his personal collection up for auction in October, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting military charities.
A recent auction of John Wayne memorabilia inspired Stallone to part with some of his movie possessions while he’s still alive to see people enjoy them. The upcoming auction will include items such as Rambo’s knife and Rocky’s boxing gloves.
Stallone plans to donate some auction proceeds to help military service members “to pay back the real people that have supplied the inspiration for the characters I’ve played”. AP
