Singapore — Korean heartthrob Choi Siwon will be back in town next month, this time to promote his new movie To The Fore.

The Super Junior member, together with Hong Kong director Dante Lam, will embark on a series of events on Aug 5 in support of the movie, which is set in the high-stakes world of competitive cycling.

Choi, who was last seen in Jackie Chan’s Dragon Blade, will be starring alongside fellow “it” actors Eddie Peng (Rise Of The Legend and Cold War) and Shawn Dou (Under The Hawthorn Tree) as professional cyclists.

The SS$16 million movie, which took six months to film, was shot at various locations such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Mongolia and Italy. It was previously reported that director Lam had requested the actors shaved their legs for the movie.

“My legs got so smooth that they didn’t seem to belong to a man. I felt apologetic to my mum,” the 29-year-old Choi reportedly said.

To The Fore opens in cinemas on Aug 6.
