SINGAPORE – Chances are, if you live in Singapore, you’ll know someone who partied pretty hard this weekend.

About 41,000 people – 15,000 on Dec 13 and 26,000 on Dec 14 – attended ZoukOut 2013 at Siloso Beach in Sentosa. This is the dance music festival’s largest turnout since the event was organised 13 years ago.

This year’s ZoukOut also featured a stellar line-up of international and local DJs, including Dutch music producer and DJ Afrojack, American Electro group Krewella, French electro-house DJ Martin Solveig, Russian-German DJ Zedd, Swedish DJ Alesso, Dutch Trance DJ Dash Berlin, local DJ Adrian Wee, DJ Aldrin and Zouk’s pioneer resident DJ Jeremy Boon.

“ZoukOut 2013 was certainly the best one yet. We definitely took things to the next level with the line-up and programming, the production, the fringe activities, set-up and turnout,” said Timothy Chia, Head of Marketing and Events at Zouk.

“I have a strong feeling that ZoukOut 2014 will be even better.”
