American rapper Pitbull makes a return to S'pore

SINGAPORE – Nearly four years since his last visit here, Grammy-winning rapper Pitbull will return to our shores this May, concert organisers Live Nation Lushington announced on Wednesday (March 8).
Born Armando Perez in Miami, Pitbull has become one of the most viable rappers in the music business today, and the rapper will be here on May 27, in support of his new album, Climate Change, which will be out this month.
Climate Change features several big name guests, including Robin Thicke, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry and Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, as well as Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez, Leona Lewis and Flo Rida.
His last concert in Singapore – for the 2013 Global Warming Tour – saw nearly 5,000 fans pack the MAX Pavilion at the Singapore Expo.
This time round, he will perform at the Suntec Convention Centre, Hall 401-402.
Tickets, priced at S$138 (standard) and S$188 (VIP), will go on sale on March 17 from all Apactix channels; although pre-sale will start from March 14.
