SINGAPORE — If you failed to get tickets to Brit band Blur’s concert in Hong Kong next week, here’s the next best thing: Catching it from the comfort of your home.
Music streaming service KKBOX will be live-streaming the concert, which will be held on July 22, 8pm, at the Hong Kong Convention And Exhibition Centre.
The exclusive broadcast will be available to users across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore at http://www.kkbox.com/live/141/blur_liveinhongkong.
Users in Singapore will first have to register as a member at http://www.kkbox.com/sg/reg.php.
KKBOX has also uploaded a special playlist featuring the band’s hit songs as well tracks from its latest album The Magic Whip, which was inspired by the band’s previous trip to the city.
Said Blur bassist Alex James: “We have incredible memories of our last show back in 2013. And we would never have imagined that we’d be returning with a brand new record which began life in a studio in Kowloon. It’s going to be a very special to play the new songs live in Hong Kong.”
