Charli XCX back in S'pore for Asian TV Awards
SINGAPORE — Brit pop star Charli XCX will be making her way back to Singapore, as a performer at this year’s Asian Television Awards.
SINGAPORE — Brit pop star Charli XCX will be making her way back to Singapore, as a performer at this year’s Asian Television Awards.
The 24-year-old, launched her own recording label, Vroom Vroom Recordings, this year, along with Vroom Vroom EP.
Cindy Ng, the managing director of the Asian Television Awards said: “We are delighted to have Charli XCX in our performance lineup. She has been very well-received in this part of the world, in particular, the Singapore audience, having performed in the country last year. We are sure fans will be thrilled to welcome her back to our shores.”
The Asian Television Awards previously confirmed the likes of Adrian Pang, Stephanie Carrington and Baki Zainal as the hosts for the “live” televised segment.
Along with Charli XCX, multiple Golden Melody Awards winner, JJ Lin, will also be performing at the ceremony.
This year marks the 21st edition of the Asian Television Awards, which will be held at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on Dec 2.
