Class 95FM comes out tops: Survey

SINGAPORE — The latest Nielsen Radio Diary Survey has confirmed MediaCorp’s Class 95FM is ranked as the No 1 English station in Singapore.

SINGAPORE — The latest Nielsen Radio Diary Survey has confirmed MediaCorp’s Class 95FM is ranked as the No 1 English station in Singapore.

The radio station led the survey with a listenership of 15.9 per cent, while Gold 90.5FM had 13.3 per cent and 987FM had 8.6 per cent.

“The competition (has been) fierce, so we’re delighted that Class 95FM continues to be the most-listened-to English station in Singapore,” said Georgina Chang, vice-president for English Programming (Music), Radio Division at MediaCorp.

“We thank our listeners and business friends for trusting us, knowing that we always strive to give them the best on radio. We’re constantly planning new shows, events and experiences for our listeners. Stay tuned for that.”

In the overall standings, Chinese radio stations Y.E.S. 93.3FM, Love 97.2FM and Capital 95.8FM retained their top positions and are the most-listened-to radio stations in Singapore, with Y.E.S. 93.3FM and Love 97.2FM sharing the same listenership of 20 per cent. Capital 95.8FM came in third with a listenership of 18.6 per cent.
