Foo Fighters to perform at National Stadium on Aug 26

SINGAPORE – Rockers Foo Fighters will make their return to Singapore on Aug 26 – more than 20 years since they last performed here.

In 2012, they cancelled an appearance at the Padang.

According to the reports at the time, Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl was told to by doctors that he had to rest his vocal cords. 

The band will play at the National Stadium on Aug 26. Their last show in Singapore was back in 1996 when they played a double-bill with Sonic Youth in the Harbour Pavilion at the old World Trade Centre.

Tickets at priced from S$128 to S$238 and will go on sale from May 23, at Sports Hub Tix (http://www.sportshub.com.sg/sportshubtix/Pages/Foo-Fighters-2017.aspx), the Singapore Indoor Stadium box office, and all SingPost outlets.
