SINGAPORE — Fans of K-pop outfit Big Bang can start counting down the hours till Friday, when tickets for Big Bang member G-Dragon’s solo appearance in Singapore go on sale.

G-Dragon (born Kwon Ji-yong) has been involved with the writing, composing and production of several Big Bang tracks, including Lies, Last Farewell and Haru Haru. He released his debut solo album, Heartbreaker, in 2009. Boosted by the No 1 single of the same name, Heartbreaker went on to become one of the most successful albums of the year, winning the Mnet Asian Music Awards for Album of the Year.

In 2012, G-Dragon released his second solo album, One Of A Kind, featuring the singles One Of A Kind, Crayon, and That XX.

G-Dragon’s influence extends beyond music: The audacious leader of Big Bang has thrilled Seoul fashionistas with his fashion sense — Alexander McQueen silk skull scarves, wedge loafers and even skirts. He was even listed as No 30 in CNN Go’s 50 Reasons Why Seoul Is The Best City poll in 2011.

The Singapore show, the final stop in G-Dragon’s One Of A Kind world tour, which kicked off on last week in Seoul, will be held on June 29 and 30 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. It’s also slated to be quite the spectacle, with famed choreographers Travis Payne and Stacy Walker, who worked extensively on Michael Jackson’s This Is It tour, on board, as well as special pyrotechnics and LED screens to enhance the experience.

Priority tickets go on sale at all Sistic outlets on April 12 and are priced at S$268 (VIP), S$228, S$208, S$188 and S$168. Public sales commence on April 13.
