RICHIE JEN. Taiwan pop star Richie Jen returns to Singapore for his latest world tour, Beyond, and fans will be pleased to note that he has also invited MP Magic Power to be the concert house band.

ROCKIN’ THE REGION. SONGS THAT KEEP US TOGETHER 2. This concert brings together popular Taiwanese singers Zhang Qiong Yao, Lin Long Xuan, Fang Ji Wei, Zhang Ke Fan, Qiu Hai Zheng, Xiong Tian Ping and Fang Wen Lin. June 1, 3pm and 7.30pm, Esplanade Concert Hall. Tickets from S$58 to S$138 from Sistic.

ERIC MOO. Ever since he came into the scene in the 1980s, Eric Moo has been pleasing his fans with his brand of music. This show is titled The Songs We Love To Sing: My Musical Journey. June 1, 8pm, Compass Ballroom @ Resorts World Convention Centre. Tickets from S$78 to S$158 from Sistic.

AN EVENING WITH FRIENDS. It’s subtitled “Celebrating 25 Years of Choral Excellence” but this performance by the ACJC choir won’t actually last that long. June 2, 5.30pm, Esplanade Concert Hall. Tickets at S$26, S$22 and S$19 from Sistic.

THE GENE POOL. Led by drummer Eugene Seow and featuring Vincent Tan on saxophones, Anson Fung on guitar and Joe Tan on 8-string guitar, the group will perform soulful originals and covers. June 3 and 4, 7.15pm and 8.15pm, Esplanade Concourse. Free.

UNDER THE BANYAN TREE WITH SONGS OF YU TIAN. Local singer Teong Swee Kiong offers his own renditions of famous songs by Taiwanese veteran singer Yu Tian. June 3, 10.30am and 3pm, Esplanade Recital Studio. Tickets at S$12 from Sistic.

THE LAST FIVE YEARS: A REVUE. Campus Superstar alum Ng Chee Yang performs originals as well as some of his favourite songs. June 5 to 8, various times, Esplanade Concourse. Free.

OPUS JAY WORLD TOUR. The “Jay” in the title is, of course, Jay Chou. And the “Opus” is of course, an opus. And if you don’t have tickets already, be nice to somebody who does. June 6 to 8, 8pm, Singapore Indoor Stadium. Tickets sold out.

VISION INTO REALITY. A Singapore Street Festival concert showcasing popular Singapore Robert Fernando, Tama Goh and Erick Guansing, as well as performers Mina Kaye and Ebi Shankara, along with youngsters Jean Kyaw, Sia Yuen and Neil Chan.
