MINISTRY OF BELLZ. No prizes for guessing what instruments this musical ensemble uses to perform its selection of seasonal tunes. (Hint: It begins with the letter “B” and ends with “ells”.) Dec 23. 7.15pm and 8.15pm, Esplanade Concourse. Free.

THE VOCAL CONSORT. One of Singapore’s popular vocal chorus groups performs Christmas carols. Dec 24, various times, Esplanade Concourse. Free.

BABES CONDE AND FRIENDS. One of Singapore’s most recognisable names in the music industry, Babes Conde is a much sought-after musician and vocal coach. She will perform some festive favourites at this concert. Dec 24, various times starting 7.30pm, Esplanade Outdoor Theatre. Free.

TAKE TWO. It’s Christmas time, but that doesn’t mean you can’t pop down to check out indie outfit Take Two, who will “serve up some of their crafty chord work and inventive rock sounds” in this special Christmas treat. Dec 25, various times starting 7.30pm, Esplanade Outdoor Theatre. Free.

GARETH FERNANDEZ AND THE MOMMA SHOP. One of Singapore’s hottest young singers takes to the stage performing old favourite and some fresh new tunes as well. Dec 27, various times starting 7.30pm, Esplanade Outdoor Theatre. Free.

THE LORONG BOYS. America has the Backstreet Boys. Singapore has the Lorong Boys. And that’s about where that tenuous link ends, because the Lorong Boys will take on anything from classical music to Broadway show tunes to pop tracks. Dec 28, various times starting 6.15pm, Esplanade Concourse. Free.

KPA ITB ANGKLUNG ENSEMBLE. The angklung has to be one of the most unique musical instruments in the world. This ensemble will perform traditional and popular tunes. Dec 28, various times starting 6.30pm, Esplande Outdoor Theatre. Free.

THE SINGING CHEF. The Singing Chef Irene Jansen returns to share recipes of food and some music too. With a special appearance by the Dover Park Hospice Gems. Dec 30 and 31, various times from 6.15pm, Esplanade Concourse. Free.
