YFEST. A showcase for local and international youth talents, this festival brings up-and-coming artists and bands onto the public’s radar. With groups like Republic Rhapsody and Heartfelt & the Urban Sensation, to solo vocalists Gareth Fernandez and Kiah Yong, the show promises to be a fun-filled weekend of good music. KPP NANDA COLLECTION WORLD TOUR 2014 IN SINGAPORE. Hot on the success of her 2013 tour, Japan Music Festival presents Kyary Pamyu Pamyu for one night only! KPP returns to Singapore as part of her Nanda Collection World Tour 2014. BRIDGING FRONTIERS. Join the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra as it presents its first Bridging Frontiers concert! Bridging Frontiers is conceived as an annual concert that will feature Singapore’s only fully-independent professional symphony orchestra in groundbreaking classical concert programmes. THE TRANSITIONS TOUR 2014. Visiting Singapore for the first time, the Norwegian band known for their legendary live sets, MoE, is sure to deliver visceral and explosive performances. The talented trio plays one night only at The Substation with Singapore band The Observatory, which promises audiences a night of blistering music. FENDER CUSTOM SHOP ROADSHOW: ROSLI MANSOR. A songwriter, producer, guitar instructor and clinician in his musical journey, it is clear that Mansor is essentially a musical storyteller: weaving his music into intriguing tales with the electric guitar. SINGAPORE ORIGINALS: I HATE THIS PLACE. I Hate This Place is a pop/electronic project that was created by Sean Nerney in 2004. Drawing inspiration from the likes of The Postal Service, The Album Leaf, as well as some of Sean’s favorite 80s synthpop groups, I Hate This Place’s music has a distinct pop appeal that is still sensitive, deep, and thoughtful. Fans of Chvrhes, Lights, Shiny Toy Guns, and Owl City will feel right at home in IHTP’s world. June 25, 7pm at The Substation, 45 Armenian Street. Free admission.

LATE NIGHT @ ESPLANADE: EVOLUTION BY VANDETTA. Join Vanessa Fernandez as she unleashes her alter ego in an evening where her influences in urban, hip hop and electronic music all come into one. Expect a night of drum loops and samples built on the sensibilities of old school hip hop, coupled with Asian sounds and featuring her soulful vocals. June 27, 9.30pm at the Esplanade Recital Studio, 1 Esplanade Drive. Tickets at S$25 from SISTIC.

SAM TSUI & KURT HUGO SCHNEIDER ASIA TOUR 2014. Following the success of their first Asia Tour in 2013, the duos are set to return and electrify Singapore once again with new originals and covers. Catch the duo perform on June 27, 8pm at Kallang Theatre. Tickets from S$58 to S$118 from SISTIC.

SHIMMERING SOUNDS OF SOULS: SOLO PIANO RECITAL BY SHAUN CHOO. Having pursued his music studies in Salzburg, Austria at the University Mozarteum, under the guidance of the late renowned pedagogue Professor Karl-Heinz Kammerling and Professor Andreas Weber, 23 year-old Choo has since performed extensively in countries across Europe and Asia. He will be performing on June 28, 7.30pm at the Esplanade Concert Hall, 1 Esplanade Drive. Tickets from S$28 to S$68 at SISTIC.

2NE1 ALL OR NOTHING WORLD TOUR. 2NE1 embark on their second world tour, which has been receiving much attention for its set list, integrating their released and beloved singles “Falling In Love”, Do You Love Me” and “Missing You”, as well as songs off of their new album “All Or Nothing”. Watch the original Korean hip-hop girl group at their first performance in Singapore on June 28, 8pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, 2 Stadium Walk. Tickets from S$138 to $268 from SportsHub.

GOODFELLAS. One of Timbre’s most entertaining groups has, surprisingly, only been formed just over a year ago. However the 6-piece band has already made big waves at their performances, showcasing their versatility playing R&B, Motown, classic songs to current pop and rock song covers. They will be performing on June 28, 1.45am at The Substation, 45 Armenian Street. Free admission.

SUNGHA JUNG LIVE IN SINGAPORE. As part of his Monotony World Tour, Sungha Jung will return to Singapore for his fifth headlining show. World Fingerstyle Champion Akihiro Tanaka will join him for this tour leg. With two unbelievable guitarists in the lineup, this show is set to be the biggest guitar event of the year. The duo will perform on June 28, 7pm, Kallang Theatre, 1 Stadium Walk. Tickets from S$40 to S$138 at SISTIC.

SARAH GERONIMO PERFECT 10 TOUR. Fans of all ages can look forward to a spectacular performance from the Filipino songstress, as she is guaranteed to mesmerize audiences with her vocal talents. Catch the talented performer on June 29, 4pm at The Coliseum™, Hard Rock Hotel® Singapore Resorts World™ Sentosa, Resorts World Sentosa 8 Sentosa Gateway, Sentosa Island. 21ST SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL PIANO FESTIVAL. Featuring locally and internationally renowned pianists, such as Kun Woo Paik and Behzod Abduraimov, this event is a must-go for any classical music fan.
