SINGAPORE — With less than a month to go, Zouk Singapore and Indonesian events company Ismaya Live issued a statement on Friday (July 15) to announce that the Beach Beats Fest that had been scheduled for Aug 9 has had to be cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

The music festival was to have taken place at Palawan Green on Sentosa and featured acts such as British artiste Mark Ronson, who worked with Bruno Mars for the smash hit, Uptown Funk; singer-songwriter Hayden James and hip-hop artiste Ta-ku (both from Australia) and The Netherlands’ Sam Feldt.

Tickets for the festival had gone on sale in June. However, the organisers have said that “plans for a new event with the same line-up” are currently in the works, and that details would be announced at a later date.

Zouk Singapore organises the popular ZoukOut dance festival, while Ismaya Live is responsible for Indonesia's Djakarta Warehouse Project. Zouk Singapore said in the statement that it will be in touch with all ticket holders to process a full refund.
