SINGAPORE — Greetings and salutations, fellow stargazers! This is your Showbiz Sista doddering around at the press conference for new Channel 8 drama, Good Luck!

What has happened to the delicate flower of youth that usually blooms on Hong Hui Fang’s cheek? It has been replaced with the pallor of extreme old age for her role as a great-grandmother about to celebrate her 100th birthday.

In the show, her family members, played by Chen Shu Cheng, Chen Liping, Rayson Tan, Terence Cao, Kym Ng, Paige Chua, Zhang Zhen Huan, Romeo Tan, Chris Tong and Aloysius Pang, exhibit varying degrees of filial piety as she prepares to draw up her last will and testament.

But I don’t know if you’re going to be watching them, because it’s pretty hard to take your eyes off the very arresting image of Hui Fang in costume -- and the rest of the cast is equally amused and bemused. What do some of them imagine they’ll be like if and when they get to her reel age? In our video, they demonstrate some moves -- before Hui Fang herself shows up to school them all.
