SINGAPORE — Minute To Win It contestants get one minute to complete tasks using everyday objects. How long does it take host Bryan Wong to complete his everyday tasks?

1. BRUSHING HIS TEETH. “It can take anywhere between 10 seconds and five minutes. It depends — am I doing anything else at the same time? Because I don’t think I can just stand still in front of the mirror and look at myself while rotating the toothbrush. What I’ll do is, I’ll brush my teeth, go to my desk, look through my schedule for the day, and then when the toothpaste becomes too watery and starts dripping from the side of my mouth onto my neck, then I’ll go and rinse it out.”

2. SHAVING. “Less than a minute. I really do concentrate on that because I don’t enjoy cutting myself.”

3. FIXING HIS HAIR. “People who know me know I’m not one to leave my house without a good dose of hairspray on my head. On a good day it’s just one minute. On a bad day, maybe half an hour, because after spraying it, I decide the shape is just not right and I have to shampoo and blow it dry again. Usually, the second time sucks as well. After the third or fourth time, I think, ‘This is just a bad hair day — I have to avoid mirrors.’”

4. PICKING OUT WHAT TO WEAR. “Simple. I’m very much a T-shirt and jeans person. So, I have at least 30 white t-shirts. If I find a particular cut to be really good, then I’ll buy five of them at one go. Because a white T-shirt will always be a white T-shirt.”

Catch Minute To Win It on Wednesdays at 8pm on MediaCorp TV Channel 5.
