LOS ANGELES — Netflix has a second original Korean series in the pipeline.

The TV platform is working on Kingdom, an eight-episode zombie thriller set to debut in 2018, Deadline reports.

The show will be directed by Mr Kim Seong-hun, known for his national box office hit Tunnel. It will tell the tale of a prince sent on a suicide mission that leads him to discover the truth about his kingdom.

The news follows the announcement of Netflix's first Korean original series, the romance Love Alarm, which was unveiled earlier this year. AFP
