Shaun Chen, Felicia Chin, Rebecca Lim, Chen Hanwei get warm reception in Cambodia

SINGAPORE — MediaCorp stars Felicia Chin, Shaun Chen, Rebecca Lim and Chen Hanwei visited Cambodia last week on a promotional tour for the drama The Journey: Tumultuous Times and its sequel The Journey: Our Homeland.

During the three days they were in Phnom Penh, the stars discussed their work at a press conference, did magazine photo shoots and were invited by Cambodian television station CTN to appear on a ‘live’ TV show. They also held a meet-the-fans session at Aeon Mall, which was attended by close to 300 members of the public.

For Shaun Chen, the whole event was a memorable one, not least because it was his first visit to the country.

“The Cambodian fans were very warm and friendly towards us Singapore actors,” said Chen. “They screamed for us when they saw us and gave us hugs. It was heart-warming and made me really happy.”
