SINGAPORE — MediaCorp announced yesterday that Toggle will introduce a refreshed website, Toggle.sg, offering users a brand new viewing experience and exciting new entertainment and lifestyle content, including free videos on demand from tomorrow. The website will also offer an optimised viewing experience across all mobile devices.

The refreshed Toggle provides several new features, including accessing free video content without having to log in; watching MediaCorp programmes ahead of TV broadcast on Toggle-it-First; and watching livestreams of Channel 5 (local programmes), Channel 8 and Channel NewsAsia.

With the refreshed Toggle comes the Toggle Originals 12-part series, Sabo, starting on April 6. The series will see our favourite local celebrities getting caught in unsuspecting situations.

Anil Nihalani, head of Connected Media, MediaCorp, said: “The new Toggle brings to viewers a wider range of entertainment and lifestyle content, whether it is video, news or gossip, in a single place. In the coming weeks, we will be adding new content and increasing the number of devices where Toggle will be available, making it a truly exciting place for entertainment.”

Meanwhile, xinmsn, the entertainment news and video portal jointly operated by MediaCorp and Microsoft, will cease operations today. Xinmsn’s entertainment and lifestyle content from MediaCorp, including local TV series, will be available on Toggle.sg from tomorrow.
