Greetings and salutations, fellow stargazers! This is your Showbiz Sista with pictures just in from last night’s Running Man party!

The Singapore leg of the Running Man Fan Meeting Asia Tour 2013 was called ‘Watsons Race Start! in Singapore’. Organised by the ONE channel, it was held at the Singapore Expo and over 3,000 Running Man fans turned up.

Some of them got to join the Running Man cast – namely, Gary, Haha, Kim Jong Kook, Jee Seok Jin and Song Ji Hyo – on stage for typically Running Man challenges like chained charades, shaking post-its off their bodies, tug-o’-war and dancing to K-pop hits. Surely Ace Ji Hyo won everything?

Lee Kwang Soo couldn’t join them in Singapore so he sent a lovely video message. Nice guy, that Giraffe.

Then the RM cast did song numbers, including a rendition of Leessang’s “Turned Off The TV” by the Monday Couple, Gary and Ji Hyo. Jee Seok Jin sang ‘I Swear’, a throwback to his comedic audition in 1993; Gary, who is one half of Leessang, performed the hip hop duo’s hits ‘You’re the Answer to a Guy Like Me’ and ‘Can’t Breakup Girl, Can’t Breakaway Boy’; HaHa did a medley of ‘Story of a Little Kid’, ‘You are My Fate’ and ‘Rosa’, along with ‘Busan Vacance’; and Kim Jong Kook rolled out his famous ‘One Man’ and ‘Today More Than Yesterday’.

Man! Those Running Men are energizer bunnies! This all took place right after they held an autograph session at Jurong Point that saw 4,000 fans turn up – some of whom had begun bagging their spots in line on Friday evening.

Singapore sure loves Running Man! Now, if Yoo Jae Suk would only show up, too. Pretty please?

Catch Running Man on Fridays at 11.45pm on ONE (SingTel mio TV Ch 513 and 604; StarHub TV Ch 124, 820, 823 and 876).

Showbiz Sista, signing out. Live long and pop corn!
