#GE2015 tweets spike over 15,000 on Nomination Day

SINGAPORE — As candidates in the General Election filed their nomination papers and gave hearty speeches yesterday (Sept 1), the number of Tweets relating to #GE2015 shot up over 15,000 on Nomination Day, Twitter said today.

SINGAPORE — As candidates in the General Election filed their nomination papers and gave hearty speeches yesterday (Sept 1), the number of Tweets relating to #GE2015 shot up more than 15,000 on Nomination Day. According to Twitter, the number peaked at around 12.30pm when nominations had closed and voters were waiting for the Assistant Returning Officer’s official slate of candidates per constituency.
