Beer market to be featured at Artbox Singapore

SINGAPORE — Three hundred vendors. Five thousand fairy lights spanning 3km, and artwork crafted on 200 pieces of sheet metal. And, perhaps most exciting for those who love beer, a beer market will be part of all the fun at Artbox Singapore.

SINGAPORE — Three hundred vendors. Five thousand fairy lights spanning 3km, and artwork crafted on 200 pieces of sheet metal. And, perhaps most exciting for those who love beer, a beer market will be part of all the fun at Artbox Singapore.

Chang Beer, naturally, will be in residence at the pop-up that will span over 5,000 sq ft at Bayfront Event Space beside Marina Bay Sands. The event will be held over two weekends in April, and organisers expect to see a turnout of 400,000.

Vendors from Thailand, as well as Singapore’s finest, will be showing their wares. Expect hammocks from Airmocks, and Dragon’s Breath desserts from Tio Smoke, for example.

Artbox Singapore will also be given a local twist, and the Singapore edition will be a "mash-up" that incorporates the feel of a Singapore night market, according to a press statement.

Live music and Thai cultural performances will be on show. The event is on April 14 and 16, and April 21 and 23. Admission is free. Vendors and live music will be different on both weekends.
