SINGAPORE — Remember Facebook’s Friends Day video? Starting this week, the popular social network will offer a personalised Birthday Video that will stitch together the messages received from friends and family as well as photos you’re tagged in on your birthday.

The feature will start rolling out to users around the world this week, including Singapore.

A 45-second video compilation will appear in the user's feed a day after his or her birthday, featuring “a magical birthday cake that lights up and comes to life, opening to reveal the top birthday posts and photos from your friends”, said Facebook in a press release on Friday (July 29).

Users can edit the photos and posts in the video before sharing it.

However, the video will only appear if at least three people wished the user a happy birthday on the social network, said PCWorld.com.
