MEATLIQUOR X DECKER BARBEQUE PRESENTS MEATDECKER

Duxton Hill’s resident burger boss, MEATliquor, and trailblazers Robertson Quay’s Southern Texas barbeque will be collaborating for the ultimate Saturday meaty brunch session today at MEATliquor SIN. Priced between S$15 to S$20++, diners can expect a carefully curated and hearty selection of starters, sides, burgers and sandwiches. Highlights includes the Triple Decker — a gloriously messy pitmaster special which features low and slow smoked chopped brisket, pulled pork and sausage piled high on a soft roll with coleslaw to satisfy any meat lovers’ appetite. Located at 99 Duxton Rd, available for lunch from 11.30am to 4pm. Call 6221 5343.

NEW ALL-DAY BRUNCH MENU AT COSTA COFFEE

Costa Coffee’s newest flagship store, Costa269, has introduced a full all-day Brunch menu. The wholesome menu features a combination of British inspired flavours and classic breakfast favourites such as the Morning Croffle served with slices of turkey ham, sauteed button and swiss brown mushrooms and scrambled eggs, and the Great Croffle Fry-Up that consist of a sunny-side egg with sauteed mushrooms and a beef sausage made from ground beef, tomatoes and onions. To delight those with sweet taste buds, there is the Very Berry Croffle, which comes with a choice of salted caramel, chocolate or vanilla ice cream and is topped with sliced strawberries and blueberries. KINKI’S BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH

Urban Japanese Dining concept Kinki Restaurant + Bar have launched an all-new bottomless brunch menu that is power packed with free flow food, prosecco and Japanese liqueur. The menu keeps true to its unique non-conventional Japanese fare of creative flavour combinations using the freshest ingredients, boasting a selection of 43 items specially picked from its current a la carte menu. Highlights from the a la carte buffet styled menu (S$52++ per person) includes its signature favourites such as the Hotate Aburim a pan-seared Hokkaido scallop sushi, Maguro Sashimi and Hot Dynamite – a maki of fried salmon and yellowtail roll, scallion and cayenne pepper. Fan favourite Waguy Foie Gras Donburi is also available on the menu. Free flow alcoholic options like sake, shochu and prosecco are provided at an additional S$35++ per type of liquour and beer at S$25++. Located at 70 Collyer Quay #02-02, Customs House. PLANK SOURDOUGH PIZZA OPENS NEW OUTLET AT NAMLY

Award-winning patissier and professional baker Dean Brettschneider expands his growing portfolio of bread-based business ventures with a brand new Plank Sourdough Pizza and Baker & Cook, which is nestled in the heart of Namly Place. Expect to see the crowd favourite sourdough-crust pizza with its cushiony-soft texture, perfect outer crisp and subtle tangy flavour. Other dishes added to the menu include Pizza Number Four, which comprises tomato, pulled BBQ chicken pizza, cranberry compote, camembert cheese and rocket, and Pizza Number Three with tomato, prawns, smoked salmon and wild mushrooms, capers, rocket sour cream and dill. Located at 64 Namly Place, the outlet opens on Mondays to Thursdays from 12pm to 3pm for lunch and from 6pm to 10pm for dinner, and from Fridays to Sundays from 12pm to 10pm.

COCOA COLONY NEW CRAFTED CHOCOLATE SIGNATURES MENU

Chocolate lovers are in for a treat. Cocoa Colony has launched a new menu that is brimming with avant-garde cocoa treats such as chocolate beverages, crafted chocolate bars, sinful chocolate cakes and savoury delights. Mouth-watering highlights include a range of sweet and delicious Colony Waffles (from S$10.50), featuring Truffle Forest Mushroom, and the Ultimate Chocolate Waffle with generous scoops of chocolate ice cream that is drizzled with molten chocolate sauce. Also among Cocoa Colony’s hottest treats are the signature cakes (from S$8.50) that sport flavours such as Black Velvet, Chocolate Orange Salted Caramel and Caramelised Banana Tart. Available now at all Cocoa Colony Café outlets, except for The Cathay and City Square Mall.

HEADS UP: ARTISAN BOULANGERIE CO. SERVES UP SWEET SUPPORT

In support of Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF), Artisan Boulangerie Co. (ABC) will be serving two specially designed CCF-inspired pastries — the Compassion Swirl (S$4) and Hope Eclair (S$5) — to raise funds for the foundation, where 70 pe cent of the gross proceeds will be donated to them. Baked fresh daily, the Compassion Swirl comprises a crisp, flaky croissant dough topped with vanilla cream and finished with a sprinkle of French praline (roasted almonds rolled in caramelised sugar) to give it an extra crunch. For the Hope Eclair, the eatery’s classic eclair choux shell is piped with fresh and fragrant lemon cream, then topped with lemon and candied mini flowers.
